Technical Specifications Specialist

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated Technical Specifications Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting the company’s products and systems, preparing detailed technical specifications, and providing technical support to large construction groups (including project, design, and procurement departments), engineering and architectural firms, as well as real estate companies.

The role also involves building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships based on trust and collaboration with key stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of key accounts, including construction companies and their subcontractors.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Conduct visits to construction sites, engineers, architects, and technical firms to promote the company’s products through technical specifications

• Prepare detailed technical specifications for projects, provide technical support, and monitor projects from initial concept through completion

• Manage key accounts from both a technical and commercial perspective, fostering strategic partnerships and long-term collaborations

• Organize and deliver presentations to engineers, architects, and at industry-related events

• Perform market and competitor research, providing relevant feedback

• Propose and introduce new products aligned with trends in the construction industry

• Participate in meetings with senior management on strategic matters

• Report to the Commercial and Technical Director

• Utilize internal accounting/ERP software as required

• Ensure compliance with the company’s commercial policies and internal procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or a strong technical background (e.g. Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline)

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building materials or the broader construction industry

• Excellent command of Greek and English (both written and spoken)

• Proficiency in computer applications

• Valid driver’s license

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability

Considered an advantage:

• Knowledge of handling a design program (e.g. AUTOCAD)
