Job description
On behalf of our client we are seeking a Senior Auditor to join the dynamic audit team, leading audit engagements, working closely with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, and supporting the development of junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of local and international audit clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
Plan and perform statutory audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high professional standard
Review audit working papers and financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
Prepare and review Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
Prepare and review Tax Computations and Tax Returns
Coordinate the collection of information and documentation required from clients
Communicate effectively with clients and manage audit-related queries and requests
Assist in the finalisation and filing of Financial Statements and Tax Returns
Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their professional development
Work closely with the audit manager and wider team to ensure the timely and successful completion of engagements
Knowledge & Experience:
University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of relevant audit experience in an audit or professional services environment
Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Strong sense of commitment, responsibility, and professionalism
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of CaseWare Financial Statements and CaseWare Audit will be considered an advantage
Knowledge and practical experience of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
