Job description

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Senior Auditor to join the dynamic audit team, leading audit engagements, working closely with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, and supporting the development of junior team members. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of local and international audit clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process

  • Plan and perform statutory audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

  • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high professional standard

  • Review audit working papers and financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards

  • Prepare and review Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS

  • Prepare and review Tax Computations and Tax Returns

  • Coordinate the collection of information and documentation required from clients

  • Communicate effectively with clients and manage audit-related queries and requests

  • Assist in the finalisation and filing of Financial Statements and Tax Returns

  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their professional development

  • Work closely with the audit manager and wider team to ensure the timely and successful completion of engagements

Knowledge & Experience:

  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 3+ years of relevant audit experience in an audit or professional services environment

  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Strong sense of commitment, responsibility, and professionalism

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Knowledge of CaseWare Financial Statements and CaseWare Audit will be considered an advantage

  • Knowledge and practical experience of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
