Payroll Officer

We are seeking on behalf of our client a reliable and experienced Payroll Officer to join a supportive and collaborative team in their Limassol office. The role covers the entire payroll cycle — from data entry and processing through to bank submission — ensuring accurate and timely payments for all employees within a structured and compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

•       Manage the full payroll process from data entry to bank submission, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all employees

•       Collect, verify, and process payroll data including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments

•       Administer and maintain Provident Fund contributions and records in line with applicable regulations

•       Process and reconcile time and attendance data, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues

•       Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and internal policies

•       Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee records

•       Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review

•       Respond to employee queries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits in a timely manner

•       Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee data

Requirements

•       Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll or similar finance/HR role

•       Solid understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and statutory deductions in Cyprus

•       Experience with Provident Fund administration

•       High level of accuracy and attention to detail

•       Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel

•       Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines

•       Excellent communication skills in English (Greek is an advantage)

•       Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
