Job description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Marina Attendant to support the daily operations of the marina. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer-service skills, hands-on boating experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality service in a luxury marine environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist yacht owners, captains and visitors with safe berthing, unberthing, docking and line handling.
Ensure vessels are correctly moored, fendered and presented in line with marina standards.
Conduct routine patrols of pontoons, quays and facilities to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across all marina areas.
Operate the fuel dock in accordance with all safety and environmental procedures.
Provide professional and friendly customer service, responding to enquiries and supporting marina guests.
Enforce marina regulations and report incidents or irregularities to the Marina Management team.
Maintain accurate logs, reports and operational records.
Assist with general operational tasks, events and emergency situations when required.
Requirements:
Experience in a marina, boating or marine customer-service environment is an advantage.
Confident in rope handling and assisting with vessel movements.
Proficient swimmer.
In possession of a small craft driving certificate, or willing to obtain one.
Good understanding of safe working practices in a marine environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A well-presented, professional and approachable personality.
Fluency in English and Greek, additional languages are an advantage.
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
