Junior Production Engineer

AmaDema, a company specializing in the development and manufacture of next-generation advanced materials, is seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join the team and contribute to applied research supporting the manufacture of technological products across a portfolio of client and R&D projects. You will work hands-on with fibre-reinforced composites, from designing the tooling to producing and testing the components.

This is a role for someone early in their career who wants breadth: design, fabrication, testing and reporting, rather than a single narrow function.

What you'll do

• Design and develop moulds and components for composite fabrication and testing

• Develop custom production set-ups for small-scale composite fabrication

• Carry out post-processing of manufactured components

• Support the design, analysis and processing of fibre-reinforced composite materials, and the development of advanced manufacturing processes

• Perform experimental testing using our in-house equipment and prepare technical reports

• Contribute to the ideation, preparation and implementation of research projects

• Manage technical projects to agreed deliverables, timelines and budgets

• Collaborate across R&D projects as a full member of the team

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

• 0–2 years' experience; internships and academic project work considered

• Exposure to composite manufacturing processes an advantage — hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, autoclave/oven curing

• Strong written English for technical reporting

• Practical, hands-on attitude and comfort working in a small, project-driven team

• Eligibility to work in Cyprus
