Head of Finance

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Head of Finance to join a dynamic and fast-growing financial services organization and fintech. Our client is a diversified holding company with a portfolio of subsidiaries operating across advisory services, asset management, financial technology, payment solutions, corporate structuring, and digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and management and statutory reporting

• Support the implementation of financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives

• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain working relationships with relevant authorities and licensing bodies

• Maintain internal controls and support risk management processes

• Coordinate with banking partners, auditors, and external stakeholders

• Drive financial performance through data-driven analysis and operational efficiency

• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team

• Prepare financial insights and recommendations for the CFO / senior leadership team

• Support fundraising, investor reporting, and capital allocation initiatives where applicable

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership or management role

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) preferred

• Background in regulated financial services environments

• Experience with multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional financial structures

• Good understanding of compliance, licensing, and regulatory frameworks within financial services

• Experience working with banking relationships and payment ecosystems

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
