Front End Engineer (Angular)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled Angular Front-End Engineer to join a well-established financial services company operating in the fintech and trading space, known for delivering innovative digital platforms to a global client base. With a strong focus on technology-driven growth, they are expanding their engineering team

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance user-facing features for web applications based on defined business needs.

• Work closely with back-end engineers and UI/UX designers to turn mockups and functional specs into polished, working interfaces.

• Apply responsive design best practices to ensure a consistent experience across devices and screen sizes.

• Produce clean, well-structured, and maintainable code in line with established standards.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to keep applications fast and efficient.

• Perform thorough testing to ensure reliability, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Keep up to date with emerging trends and best practices in Angular and front-end development.

• Partner with the QA team to catch and resolve bugs or inconsistencies.

• Write and maintain unit tests.

• Take part in code reviews, flagging anti-patterns and proposing refactoring opportunities.

Qualifications/Experience

• Solid, hands-on experience with Angular (modern Angular, not AngularJS).

• Strong working knowledge of Angular v17+, including standalone components, signals, and state management tools (NgRx or SignalStore).

• Hands-on experience styling with TailwindCSS and building responsive layouts.

• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

• Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt).

• Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or Jest is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Comfortable working within Agile development environments.
