Commercial Manager - Power Plant (Relocation to Cyprus)

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the strategic commercial management of a pioneering electricity generation unit in Cyprus. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, ensuring effective contract management, and maintaining full compliance with the regulatory framework.

This position is part of the first private power generation plant in Cyprus, offering a unique opportunity for seasoned professionals from Greece to relocate and play a key role in one of the region’s most significant energy projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and negotiate commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.

• Monitor energy markets, conduct price analysis, and develop commercial strategies.

• Collaborate with technical and financial departments in the design and implementation of commercial plans.

• Monitor the unit’s financial indicators and optimize commercial performance.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and contractual obligations.

• Conduct risk analysis and manage commercial disputes.

• Communicate and cooperate with regulatory authorities and energy market operators.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Engineering, Energy Management, Economics, Business Administration, or another related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in energy commercial management or a related sector.

• Strong understanding of energy market mechanisms, contracts, and the regulatory framework.

• Familiarity with energy trading and market analysis software.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Solid skills in analyzing financial data.
