CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join a dynamic and fast-growing financial services organization and fintech. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping the financial direction of the company and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term business objectives

• Ensure full regulatory compliance and maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities and licensing bodies

• Oversee risk management frameworks and internal controls

• Manage relationships with banking partners, investors, and external stakeholders

• Drive financial performance through data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

• Support M&A activities, fundraising, and capital allocation strategies where applicable

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Board and senior leadership team

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior executive role

• Strong background in regulated financial services environments

• Proven experience in managing complex financial structures and multi-jurisdictional operations

• Deep understanding of compliance, licensing, and regulatory frameworks within financial services

• Experience working with international banking relationships and payment ecosystems

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) preferred

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
