CEO - Retail Industry

On behalf of our client we are seeking an accomplished CEO to lead through the next stage of growth. The CEO will set the strategic direction of the company, drive sustained business development, and build a more efficient and resilient organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the company’s vision and strategy and drive it to the next level of growth.

• Lead business development: find new markets, partners and revenue opportunities.

• Improve efficiency across the company, reducing waste and cost.

• Lead and support the management team and build a strong company culture.

• Manage budgets, performance and financial results.

• Report regularly to the board or owners.

• Represent the company with key clients, partners and the public.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

• At least 10 years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or general management role.

• Proven track record of growing a business and delivering results in business development.

• Experience improving efficiency and managing costs.

• Excellent leadership, decision-making and strategic thinking skills.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills at all levels, including with boards and investors.

• Fluency in English; Greek is an advantage.
