Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled BI and Reporting Officer with strong expertise in Power BI and data visualization. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports that consolidate client, financial, and risk performance data.

The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering accurate, automated, and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Build and maintain data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations for complex KPIs.

  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

  • Create interactive and user-friendly visualizations for executive and operational stakeholders.

  • Integrate data from multiple systems (ERP/accounting, CRM, trading, and risk platforms).

  • Develop and maintain reliable ETL pipelines ensuring clean and accurate data.

  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and governance across reporting outputs.

  • Perform variance, trend, and performance analysis across financial, client, and risk metrics.

  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives through timely reporting.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Operations, and Dealing teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements.

  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders using self-service BI tools.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics.

  • Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and performance metrics.

  • Experience analyzing financial, risk, or client-related data.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
